Junior Golf Membership

The Eastern Golf Club offers one of the only, fully planned and integrated, Junior Golf Membership pathways in Australia with our range of Junior Golf Programs available for children. Children can commence their golfing journey from the age of six in our Junior Golf Academy which runs in conjunction with the school terms; and from there, as their skills develop, move into our Sub-Junior Program until the age of 11; before entering our Junior Program until the age of 18 years.

The Eastern Golf Club’s Sub-Junior Program is designed for children aged between 8 and 11 years. The program allows Juniors access to the Club’s facilities seven days a week; and to the golf course during restricted, non competition times, unless otherwise approved. Each new member of our Sub-Junior Program will receive a complimentary golf lesson, valued at $50, from our Head Professional to ensure they get their game off to a great start.

The Eastern Golf Club prides itself on its role as a custodian of the game; not just for those playing now, but also for the future generations of golfers. We are proud of our long-term commitment to developing and nurturing boys and girls from a young age through to our Junior Membership level that has been developed for those children aged between 12 and 18 years. The Club has many Juniors of varying ages and abilities; and from our experience we have found that when Juniors play in regular competitions together they form strong friendships; and it’s these friendships that also help the juniors to improve as they are constantly striving to develop their skills and ultimately, lower their handicaps.

Regardless of their level of play, the most important element that we seek to ensure is ‘always in play’ is that their learning is all done in an environment from which they continue to get enjoyment from the game.

Junior MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Full Junior Membership 12 – 18 years: Full access to the course and sporting facilities seven (7) days per week

Sub-Junior Membership 8-11 years: Access to the course and sporting facilities seven (7) days per week; parental and / or guardian supervision is required at all times for all members whilst on The Eastern Golf Club premises.

Shark Waters Junior Membership 12-18 years: Access to Shark Waters and sporting facilities seven (7) days per week
