Casual Kitchen Hand

We are seeking a casual Kitchen Hand for our award winning golf course and accommodation experience in the Yarra Valley.

Join our friendly Kitchen team – where you are truly valued and not just a number, have job security and work in a modern, fully equipped kitchen with Chefs that have a passion for food and the industry.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes:

Be experienced in a restaurant or events environment and work calmly under pressure.
Have great communication.
Be respectful, punctual and has great work ethic.
The ability to work alone, and as part of a team.
Have excellent organisational skills.
Be available to work approximately 20 hours per week including Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday.
Whilst not essential, a current Food Handlers Certificate would be desirable.

Come and join our fabulous team – we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our established team that delivers a customer focused experience to our members and their guests across the Club’s retail and golf operations – approximately 20 hours per week.

Enjoy working outdoors.
Be available to work from 11am onwards and weekend work may be a requirement.
A Drivers Licence is not required.
An interest in golf is a plus but not required.

Casual golf shop / Retail Sales Assistant

To be considered you will ideally:

Enjoy engaging with others and have a desire to learn new skills.
Have a commitment to providing great customer experiences.
Retail sales experience is great but not essential – we will provide you with on-the-job training.
An interest in golf is a plus but not required.
Our Sports Shop also sells takeaway food and beverage – a current RSA is essential; and Food Handler’s Certificate, together with barista experience is desirable.

Course Team

Qualified Turf Tradespersons

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Course Maintenance Team, working across all areas of our 240ha property incorporating golf course facilities, private nature reserve and walking trails. This position would be ideally suited to someone already in similar position, or who are looking to take further steps in their career.

To be considered for this wonderful opportunity you must have:

Qualifications and, or sound knowledge of turf management practices.
Understanding of OHS and environmental procedures.
Familiar in the use of pedestrian cylinder mowers.
Experienced in the use of ride on cylinder mowers..
Experience with decoder-based (Toro) irrigation systems ideal but not required.
Enthusiasm for the manual tasks involved with developing and maintaining a golf course.
Motivated and career orientated with a willingness to undertake further studies.
