Dear Members,<\/p>\n
The Peter Blount Memorial Trophy will be contested on Sunday 16th<\/sup> December. The event will be a Pinehurst Mixed Foursomes. Under this format, both men and women play a ball from the tee, following which each plays their second shot with their partner\u2019s ball. They then decide which of the two balls is in the better position and play alternate shots until the hole is completed.<\/p>\n Competition will be played on the South Course ONLY, both morning and afternoon fields.<\/p>\n The event is open to Eastern Intermediate and Full members.\u00a0 Members may invite guests to play golf for the competition of the day, without payment of green fees, however guests are not eligible to win the Peter Blount Memorial Trophy.<\/p>\n After golf, all members and their guests are welcome to attend a small presentation in the members lounge.\u00a0<\/p>\n We look forward to seeing a large number of members and their guests at what has traditionally been a popular event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Dear Members, The Peter Blount Memorial Trophy will be contested on Sunday 16th December.
